A PvP auto battler built from junk. Buy scrap parts, wire them together on a grid and tier them up, then watch your machine fight other players' builds on its own.
What a Steam playtest is
A playtest is a test build of a game that developers offer before release. On Steam you sign up for testing on the game's page. Whether you get access immediately, or the developer invites you first, is decided by the developer and can change.
