Privacy
The site is static and requires no login. Traffic measurement is voluntary and off by default: until you give consent, no measurement script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. The site has no advertising scripts.
What the site stores
- Technical cookies holding your measurement choice (
pa_matomo_consent) and a record of a withdrawn consent (mtm_consent_removed) — only if you decide so; details are in the cookie overview. - Measurement cookies
_pk_*only after you consent to measurement. - Essential preference cookie
pa_languageholding your chosen site language — set only when you switch the language manually, never on a mere page load. - No cookies of our own for advertising, login or profiling, and no marketing cookies.
- No registration and no user account.
- Filter choices only in the page address, which you can delete at any time.
- No payment details — the site has no payment gateway and no payment form.
Language choice and country lookup
The site is available in Czech and in English. Your language choice is stored only in the
essential preference cookie pa_language, kept for 180 days, and it is written only
when you switch the language manually — a mere page load sets no such cookie, so a visitor who
never touches the switch is not marked. Because it only remembers your own explicit choice, this
cookie does not need consent; you can delete it in your browser at any time, after which the site
offers a default again.
On your first visit to the home page, without a stored choice, the server estimates the country of your connection locally using the DB-IP Lite database. Czechia and Slovakia use Czech; other countries use English. If the country cannot be determined, your browser's primary language decides (Czech or Slovak: Czech; otherwise: English). No external geolocation service is contacted, no IP address is passed on for this purpose, and the result is not stored or linked to traffic measurement. A direct English link always opens English. You can change the language manually at any time.
Loading images from the Steam CDN
Game previews load from the public Steam CDN. Your browser requests them directly from Valve, which may see the IP address and basic request details. We have no influence over that transfer; it is governed by Valve's policy.
Hosting
The site runs on hosting from Contabo, which runs the web server and keeps technical access logs. We have not yet verified the server location or the data processing agreement (DPA), so we do not state them here.
Technical server logs
The server keeps access logs (Nginx). One record contains the IP address, request time, method, path without parameters in the address (no query), protocol, status code, number of bytes transferred and request duration. The purpose is security and operations: recognising attacks, debugging errors and protecting availability.
Legal basis: the operator's legitimate interest in secure operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Only authorised site administration has access to the logs.
The targeted log retention is at most 7 days together with a file size limit. The rotation and limit configuration is still being finalised, so we do not state retention here as already established and verified. Once the configuration is confirmed, we will add the verified value here.
Measurement
Traffic measurement is opt-in and off by default. Only after your explicit consent is a measurement script loaded from the operator's own server; until then nothing is measured and no request is sent to the measurement server. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. What is measured, which cookies that involves and how to change the choice is described on the Cookie settings page.
The legal basis for measurement is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without it, measurement does not start.
Voluntary bank support
The site does not run a payment gateway and does not process payment details. The account number, IBAN, BIC and QR code are published in the Support the site section. You enter the transfer in your bank, choose the amount yourself, and the site does not learn about the transfer made.
The operator may receive payer details from their bank, for example a name and an account number. They are used only to match the contribution and are not linked to site traffic. We do not state the retention period for these details here because it is not confirmed.
Your rights
- access to personal data and a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
- portability where processing relies on consent or a contract (Art. 20 GDPR).
You can exercise your rights by e-mail to jiri.xsvobo@seznam.cz. We will answer within the period set by Art. 12 GDPR, usually within one month of receiving the request.
You can lodge a complaint about processing with the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.cz.
