The Marchies are not just lost, they are clueless as well. They do not think for themselves, they just keep marching. That's why you and your friends have to do the thinking for them. Place gadgets to clear hazards, clear obstacles and make a soft landing to keep them alive. Create shortcuts, trigger mechanisms and figure out how to keep them from getting rolled over by moving rocks. Maybe you are smart enough to use rolling rocks to your advantage? Be smarter than and keep the number of gadgets you use low and get a higher score. Get badges for solving the puzzle quickly and on the first try. You need to plan well. Once you press ready there's no going back. The Marchies trust your judgment (or are just unaware of danger?) and will gladly keep going no matter what. Your gadgets can save them but unfortunately also make things worse. Place a series of springs badly DEAD, mislead a rolling rock in the wrong way DEAD, misplace a cushion... yeah, you get it. The worst thing that can happen is a guardian that is even more clueless than they are... but you aren't... right... right? Play with up to 4 friends together in a team. Share the total set of tools among you and cooperate on who places what where. If you do it right, pat each other on the back. If someone fails, be sure to blame the one that killed all those cute Marchies for no reason. Two ways to play Single-player. Take on the levels alone. When it goes wrong, there is nobody to blame but you. Co-op. Up to four players on the same level, one shared plan and one shared clock. Create your puzzles and play others. Community maps are a huge part of what makes MarchMallows great. There is no end to how many puzzles there are, since the community keeps on making new ones.PARTY GAMES

Take a break from cooperating. Beat your friends instead. Sugar Rush! (20 players max). Be the first over the finish line. Easy, right? Nope, not really. There are obstacles to jump and avoid, and speed boosts to get ahead of your clumsy friends. If you are the clumsy one, there are still ways to win: missiles, grenades, stars, obstacle-altering boosts and more. Use them on your more agile friends to gain an advantage. Cake Royale (20 players max). Need to settle something that went bad in co-op? Well, then Cake Royale is for you. Show your friends who's boss by throwing cakes in their faces and deflecting their pathetic attempts to knock you down. Be the last one standing and win the round. Marchie Flight (4 players max). Go down the slide, time the spring to get a good jump, then sail to the highest-value target and stick the landing. Cozy, right? Could be, if a friend that landed before you didn't ruin your landing by throwing a cake in your face!WHAT'S MORE TO COME?More minigames: lane wars, battle arena, cake bake and more! All chaotic co-op, PvP and team vs. minigames to enjoy or dislike your friends in! Full level editor for minigames: Marchie Flight, Sugar Rush!, Cake Royale, battle arena and more! More campaign maps! The demo contains about 1/3 of the campaign, so there are both more maps and biomes to come!

What a Steam playtest is

A playtest is a test build of a game that developers offer before release. On Steam you sign up for testing on the game's page. Whether you get access immediately, or the developer invites you first, is decided by the developer and can change.
