Your island comes with you. Everything else is up for grabs. ExpressLane is a free-to-play multiplayer survival FPS where squads bring persistent floating island bases into chaotic skybound matches. Build, loot, raid, fight bosses, and make it home before everything falls apart.
What a Steam playtest is
A playtest is a test build of a game that developers offer before release. On Steam you sign up for testing on the game's page. Whether you get access immediately, or the developer invites you first, is decided by the developer and can change.
