Fly a small mining pod down through the rock. Fill the hold with ore, get back up before the fuel runs out, sell it, and buy a bigger drill. Build a base on the surface and hold it when the critters come at night. Luna, Mars, Io and Callisto, with a guardian machine asleep under each.
