You work - your army fights. Darkest Desktop is an idle RPG in the corner of your desktop: assemble a squad of three heroes, cast spells, defeat bosses, collect loot, and Ascend to grow stronger with every cycle.
What a Steam playtest is
A playtest is a test build of a game that developers offer before release. On Steam you sign up for testing on the game's page. Whether you get access immediately, or the developer invites you first, is decided by the developer and can change.
